Introducing Four Lines of Pottery
Besides having a passion for plein air painting, I’ve recently discovered the enjoyment and satisfaction of creating pottery. After many request, pottery has been added to the website. Below is a brief description of each line. To view the pieces, please click on the titles above. (Each piece was hand formed on a potter’s wheel.)
Bonne Terre
Nature “Good Earth” is the influence for this line. Trees, dragonflies and cattails are themes found on the surface of these pieces.
Decoupe
Each piece in this line was hand carved with scenes of stylized trees, lily pads and other outdoor themes.
Forme Libre
Drips, splashes, and other free forms are used in these abstract expressionistic influenced pieces.
Taches
Frog spots, cheetah spots, leopard spots and other spots in various colors decorate these low slung vases.
