Monday, February 9, 2009 (10:00 - 2:00) Forest Park, St. Louis, MO no longer available

It's amazing how much visual information can be seen in such a limited subject as this grey winter waterfall. No bright colors or overly contrasting values screaming, "Look at me!", just an endless variety of cool and warm tones, subtle value shifts and a simple circular composition whispering in your eyes. Even on this overcast, windy, chilly day I found it to be just as compelling, grand and poetic as any sunset or mountain vista.
