This painting fell together very quickly. I think it was completed even before others in our group had chosen their first subject. When this happens the most difficult part of the painting is convincing yourself that you really are done. Many times I'll continue working on it until I've completely destroyed it. But not this time. "Put down the brush and walk away from the painting," was today's motto. Fairly bright day with temperatures in the low 30s.
