On this painting the T-Rex was a pushover, a real pussycat - it was the foreground that was the true terror. The top third of this painting fell into place in about 45 minutes. Boom, boom, boom, no problems. The bottom two-thirds took forever. It looked simple but I'd paint it, wipe it down, paint it again, wipe it down. This went on and on. It was close to becoming extinct when magically with five minutes and a few strokes all was saved. What a battle and what a day. Overcast, windy and temps in the 30s to 40s.
