I loved how much of this beautiful valley I could see while standing at ground plain. Usually the only way to view any kind of distance around these areas is by looking down a river or standing on a bluff. It was wonderful to see how the distant colors receded into cool blues and the way the purple middle grounds played off of the orange tans of the bean fields. A scene I couldn't refuse. Overcast skies with a mild wind and temps in the 40s to 50s.
