Monday, June 29, 2009 (8:30 - 11:30) Dillon, CO
This is the first painting I've done in Colorado this year. Coming from St. Louis, Missouri, it's so good to be out on a late June morning and actually feel a little chilled. Having setup my easel, I took a deep breath of mountain air and started painting these wonderful aspens. Standing in the middle of these trees as they swayed and their leaves quacked was truly therapy for the soul. Wonderful morning with temps in the low to upper 50s under a big blue sky.
