Thursday, April 9, 2009 (2:40 - 3:00) Midgley Reis, Lebanon, IL no longer available

The painting was halfway completed when a trio of road crew vehicles appeared over the hill. As the blader, mower and sweeper approached all I could imagine was my canvas being pelted with grass and debris. To my relief and thanks the operators were masterful at directing their work. Not a single blade of grass hit my canvas. They certainly knew their craft and just shows that art comes in many forms. Bright day with temperatures in the 50s to 60s.
