Wednesday, April 29, 2009 (1:30 - 3:00) Klondike Park, MO No longer available

The only thing more exciting than finding this great little county park during the Augusta Plein Air Event was seeing someone pull an eight pound bass from this small quarry lake. After catching lots of little perch, he and his daughter moved down to where his wife was throwing cracker crumbs into the water. Ten minutes later he had himself one big bass. As they passed by they complimented me on my painting and I complimented them on their catch. We both left with a keeper. Overcast day with temps in the low to mid 70s.
