I had to paint this spring scene. The greens and yellows were just too vibrant to ignore - inspiration had struck. The only problem was the painting would take more time than my Monday schedule allowed. Not wanting to lose the inspiration, I decided to see how far I could get in the next hour and hopefully finish up the next day, gambling the overcast skies would remain the same. The gamble paid off. With that bit of luck, maybe I should also have bought a lottery ticket. Overcast skies and temps in the 60s.
